Tubs of Roses - shrinkflation

OK.....I'm willing to tolerate this temporary desecration of the thread.
As I'm assuming yourself and @Purple have to check back into the depths on Monday Morning?!:D

In EuroGiant for the first time in 6 months. I notice all the brandname chocolates and biscuits are gone, replaced by noname brands.

We won't be buying any of the Quality Street, Roses, etc. again after this year. Sick of them. They don't even taste like chocolate anymore.

We will treat ourselves to the Butlers and similar brands that contain milk and not Palm Oil.

Had a chicken this year instead of turkey. We will stick to that from now on.

Agree, didn't bother buying any this year but unfortunately got 3 tubs as gifts, kids opened one but didn't eat more than a handful,
Did buy Butlers and got a few boxes. Delicious, all gone.

Two boxes of roses here with half the sweets left in them that nobody would touch over Christmas. most of the nice ones gone and made up then of the disgusting ones that nobody will eat. They will just go in the bin now. Wont be buying any next year.

Plenty of Quality Street €3.50 (clubcard) in Tesco Douglas, Cork.
Also 750g Tins €8.00 (supposedly reduced from €20!) of nostalgia to some I'm sure.
Not showing online, so no idea how widespread.

There was great value in cans of coke in Lidl over the christmas.
Not so great if you're beloved uses most of them to boil the ham in.

Lindor was very disappointing this year with hollow centres and ferraro rocher have flat bottoms now (sorry, not sure how else to describe this!)
