Key Post Step by step guide to applying for UK State Pension

Can anyone confirm what the timeframe is for "immediately" in the Class 2 description "..have worked in the UK immediately before leaving"?

I worked until 30 Oct 2020 in UK and left on 6 Jan 2021.

Hi, I worked in the UK for 4 years and then I was received job seekers allowance for a few months before moving back to Ireland. Could I still qualify? Thanks

Just a hint for anyone completing a last minute CF83 online.
I spend ages trying to find this on their website today for a friend and eventually got there .
Go to this link: https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/guidance/apply-to-pay-ni-contributions-abroad/start/about-this-form
Click Continue
Then from here, Click None of the above:

And then it gives you the option to apply online, after which you can log in with your government gateway ID

They really made it hard to find this ..

I believe that this question is purely related to this specific issue :

"Between November 2017 and April 2019, HMRC’s guidance was incorrect. If you did not apply or your application was refused because of the incorrect guidance, you may be able to pay at the original rates. You can provide details if you think you may have been affected."

Yes or No to Question about "Telling us how HMRC error affected you" I left UK in 1996 with 3 years emplyment and have been working in Ireland since, just wondering if theres any advantage to ticking the box and claim I didnt apply 2017-2019 due to incorrect guidance

I have a question re CF38.
Question 27: Does this employer hold a contract of service?
Does this apply to self employed persons or could it mean the contract you had as an employee of the company?
Thanks

So to be 100% clear

1. you are not self employed
2. you worked in the UK for Acme Limited (UK), in the Womble Town, AppleShire office.
3. you are still working for Acme Limited (UK), now based out of the BallyGoForwards Co Cork office

do I have that correct?

1. I'm not self employed
2. I worked in UK for Acme Ltd UK
3. I'm no longer working for Acme Ltd UK based in Co Cork.

Thanks

I got my NINO in the post today and submitted the online form. Got a bit too excited and sent the form in, ticked yes box instead of saving and updating as and when I got advice. Nothing I can do now. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
