Leaseback in Casteljaloux

Hello all,

I am going over to Casteljaloux for a week on the 3rd of June. I would like us perhaps to get together before then if possible. Dont know whether this would suit but maybe somewhere in the centre of dublin?. Weekends would suit me best.

If we had a common approach I think we could exert more pressure on JC, even if we could group together to get a french lawyer to look over the contracts, this would help.

I havent looked at them in a while but issues that jump out are

new restrictions on when we take our weeks holidays
penalties on late payments from our side, looking at www.frenchleaseback.net there seems to be a problem with escalating managment charges.
no final date of completion.

Anyone up for a meeting?

We do need to get together prior to your visit to France. If we plan for this weekend it may be too soon, and too few interested parties will see our intention to meet in time, hence miss the appointment and detract from the benefit of a group meeting.

How about Saturday 17th May or Saturday 24th May at 4pm in the Spawell pub in Templeogue, (junction 11 N81) which is just off the M50 with plenty of parking?

We can all bring along all our details, exchange e-mail addresses etc. so we do not have to disclose any personal information on an open access website.


Bring along your brochure and place it on the table or simply a card with Casteljaloux to ensure that we all get together.

That location would suit me anyway, good idea for the parking, the 17th May or the 24th May also suits. Perhaps we should bring all documentation emails contracts etc as well.

Hopefully other people will see this and sign up as well. I have the email address of one other buyer, I will email him.

I have a mobile phone number for another interested party whom I will contact.

How about Saturday 17th May to get the ball rolling, Careily is due to go over on 26th May, so it will give us some time in advance of both Careily's visit and your visit to discuss our situation.

As you mentioned I will bring along all my correspondence, contracts, etc.

do tom mcgrath solicitors think you have a good chance of recovering funds?

Hi all, thanks for letting us know the meeting is going ahead. Just to let you know we have being over in CJ 3 times, the last time was Easter this year, met JC and notaire. Walked the site with JC, roads and services seem to be in place, but we still feel there is a lot to be done.JC assured us that he was commited to the project ,we have more information which we will let you know on Saturday.Regards W and P Cork.

Tom mcgrath has sent all our information regarding this project to his associate in france,we are awaiting his opinion.

Have you decided anything about the way forward with this project at the meeting.
 
Numerous strategies were discussed. Several options are under investigation. Please attend our next meeting for update and an opportunity for you to lend your support to your fellow investors.

At the meeting the investors agreed to hold the next meeting in Dublin City Centre. How about The Shelbourne Hotel, 27 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin 2.


Some lunchtime 1 - 2 pm or Saturday afternoon to suit investors who may be coming up from the country.

In France there are several major problems with a lot of leaseback investments. I would advice you to contact a good and specialised lawyer in France and get in touch with the Association Apart as well as to check the website called http://groups.google.com/group/Invest-RT
What is the name of the managment company of your leaseback property?
