Circle K fuel discounts

My card arrived in today's post, post-marked Gaillimh, and the PIN also arrived, in a different envelope of course, post-marked Baile Atha Cliath, looking for all the world like the payslips we used to get centuries ago from a former employer. Card now masking-taped inside the glove box, PIN easy to remember. Nice slick operation so far, all very reassuring.

First direct debit taken this morning. €60.23 for 34.24 litres of petrol filled on 28/5/2026 @ €1.759/litre or €0.04 off the price at the pump, just as advertised., Sound so far and 12 day's tick to boot.

One little niggle is that the sales slip only shows the volume of product dispensed, no pricing or discount information. Your correspondent was foresighted enough (this time :)) to scribble those details on the slip before leaving the pump, for verification purposes.
 
The email from Circle K always illustrates the cost, discount and net price.

However, what annoys me is the difference in the price of fuel, between their depots and I don't for one moment accept that its just don't to the cost the day that they reorder fuel.
 
Spot on, invoice issued 1/6/2026 but I missed it as it was the last attached document after series of Ts&cS, Adobe Acrobat ads, etc. in that email.
And yes, massive variations in price from one Circle K to another. Thanks

Aren't they franchises so the operator presumably has some leeway to charge what they want? Same as every other fuel outlet?
 
Not a Circle K outlet but the closest filling station to me has petrol @ €1.749 and diesel @ €1.719 this morning
 
Haven't filled either car in ages but Mrs C did hers last weekend and so the CK invoice arrived yesterday
57.21Ltrs @ €1.8480 net of discount costing €105.72
Think that is the first time in both our lives were a full tank has cost more than €100 :eek:

Do you see that as a specific offer within your app? Or did you just get an email about it?
I didn't get any notification - either via app or email.

There's nothing in my app so maybe it is a targeted offer for certain customers only :(

Came as a text msg, via the app I'd assume. €109 recorded at the pump for car and into container for lawn-mower, strimmer, chainsaw.

I received a text also - even though I haven’t purchased fuel as m have an EV for the past 2.5 years. Only use App for car wash.
