    Tax Relief Rate

Nice one, it makes sense now. Couldn't figure out why there'd be the 40% entitlement for relief. Thanks, for that, helps a lot.

    Tax Relief Rate

At what rate of relief would AVCs get for a teacher who is currently jobsharing. Annual salary coming out at €30,750. I would have thought any AVC would be entitled to just the 20% tax relief, but Cornmarket are saying she can get a 40% relief on a portion of it? Is this correct?

Getting Mortgage while on unpaid leave

My wife is on unpaid leave. Was told by bank to wait until she goes back to work to apply, as the bank has to see that she is actually working. They will not rely on your word that you are going back, they need to see it unfortunately.

New Petrol Lawnmower for small back garden, budget €200.

I have never really heard of a battery one? How long does it take to charge? How long does the charge last? In answer to the questions above I need it to be light and to cut relatively long grass (as sometimes I dont get the time to cut my garden as much as possible). The cylinder...

New Petrol Lawnmower for small back garden, budget €200.

Have an electric cylinder mower alright, but I find that (with two small kids!) I dont get the time to cut it often enough, so when I do the grass is a bit long and the cylinder mower does not cut it that well

New Petrol Lawnmower for small back garden, budget €200.

Hi, I am about to buy a new petrol lawnmower for a small back garden. Budget is less than €200 as the garden is quite small so no need for an expensive mower. I was looking at one of these four and was wondering if anyone had an opinion or other options. It would have to be...

Taxsaver Question re Private Coach Operators

Thanks for all the advice guys. Went for the Mondeo. Have a deposit down on a Black 2.0 TDCi LX with cruise control, parking sensors and climate control. Car has 33k miles and has been fully serviced every 10k miles. It seems in great nick. €11,900 is a good price for all that I...

    07 Passat or Mondeo

That is one of my chief concerns re the Mondeo. The model I have my eye on seems in great condition and I had intended on keeping it for 5 or 6 years so was thinking it wouldn't be worth that much at that stage anyway, but nor would a 5 year old 08 new model. The plus re the Passat is that there...
