I called UB complaints team and was told still no update but expect it to go on till at least April 2019. I've logged a complaint with Ombudsman but no idea when this will end. Would be more patient if I was even told that I were impacted or not. very frustrating
Seems very quiet here. Anybody any indication if conclusion for UB this year. Waiting almost 3 years for a decision...

I was told in August that it could take another 6 months for my case to be sorted, so I don't think it will be completed this year based on that.

I have been waiting 3 years for a decision, i finally got a phone call last week but just to confirm my address would not tell me whether impacted or when would hear anything. VBiz74 who told you could take another 6 months? Was that the helpline?

Did you change address since ? I got this call because I had and they had sent out a registered letter to my old address and it was returned.

It was the contact they assigned me after my letter to the Oireachtas. I've not heard anything since receiving the impact letter in early August, but they had the wrong address for me too, so I'm waiting for him to confirm today if there is any further movement on mine, as I've heard a few people have been returned to their correct rate but I'm still waiting.

5 months after been issued a cheque I still have no breakdown of redress. Frustrating. Madddening. Been fobbed of with absolute bollocks form Ulster Bank every time I email, call. Anybody else in this position and why is it taking so long?

Hi, have any ex (or current) UB staff that were originally on tracker rate but moved to fixed staff rate been deemed impacted? I am still waiting despite numerous calls and letters, impossible to get an update on when we should expect an update apart from holding letters every 6 months or so..

Jamestkirk i am in the same position received Cheque and letter for min amount when I contacted them was told the breakdown was in my letter I explained I couldn’t see the breakdown of what paid and versus what I should of paid and not sure how it was adjusted they advised they would look into it then called me back to say oh we are working on it anyhow I have appealed in the meantime and today received 20day letter from BDO they are still awaiting response from UB. It’s ridiculous as I was waiting nearly two years for compensation which turned out to be minimum amount not sure if this helps but your not alone waiting on breakdown how they came up with figure I still don’t know....

Important I think that customers like us still awaiting a decision inform Oireachtas Finance Committee so they are aware of extent of unresolved cases. Realistically it's a waste of time contacting UB as they have totally ignored us. All Banks will be before Committee in coming weeks and they need customers cases.

Also look in at Governor Lane tomorrow 9.30 as Committee will quiz him on this.

When are the banks due in front of the committee? And who do you contact in the committee?
when I contacted them in June they sent me a contact email for UB. I got a phone call on July 13 from MMC in UB and he said they would update me every month. Needless to say I’ve heard nothing since apart from the 60 day letter.

I have also been in regular contact with this gentleman since July. After much persistence he says an update letter has issued.

I'm also chasing MMC for updates, I've not had anything from them since receiving the initial impact letter in early August. Was supposed to hear from him Tuesday but nothing so far, I noticed a lot of people have been put back on their tracker but my repayment was the same this month, no movement.
