David McWilliams: "Bitcoin Betrayal"?

Relevance? Do you plan on dropping this any time soon so that the thread can go back to its original purpose?
You were the one who started talking about disrespect and respect. I was continuing. It's how conversations work. But if you're happy to get back on track to where we left off about Bitcoin and you got confused about tulips, then I'm keen as mustard!

I was responding to your previous post. I see you're not done with holding the discussion to ransom with your finite/infinite loop filibuster, so be it.

@tecate long time ago you might recall that we had a barney about the meaning of inflation. The following echoes your comment.
Coindesk said:
“In the bitcoin world, they don't use the term ‘inflation’ quite the way that economists do, as a general increase in consumer price. Instead, they tend to use it to mean an increase in the money supply,” said economist and CoinDesk columnist Frances Coppola.
The G@F went out of their way to educate us confused infidels on the Blessed Duality. You might have expexted them to explain the doctrinal meaning of inflation. In our confusion we could be excused for thinking it was Satan's version i.e. the change in the price of goods and services.

I do remember. I've outlined that Fidelity are discussing token inflation as they're perfectly entitled to do. That you and Brendan misunderstood that back then - and that you continue to do so today is unfortunate. Unlike Mr. Tulip, I'm not going to force you to understand it.

I would say tecate will win. Given his confusion about finite things being infinite, he could easily attempt to go on forever, without realising the futility of it.
There's no need to 'go on forever'. I'm quite happy to wallow in my own infinite ignorance. ;)

Actually I did know what the G@F were referring to from my 5 years engagement with the cult. But I was thinking of the great unwashed for whom the G@F felt it necessary to explain the Blessed Duality.

So if we said that they're referring to token inflation instead of the more commonly understood garden variety inflation, would that cover it?

You believe that tulips are infinite, so I'll take that with a grain of salt.
That's very much a personal matter for you - as is you coming to terms with not being able to force the discussion to your will..although clearly it's preventing any further discussion.
