Creaking floorboards

The creaking floorboards in our house are driving us mad and they seem to get worse with each day. You can't take a step anywhere upstairs without a creak. About a year ago I lifted the carpets and drilled extra screws and it seemed to remove some of them, but it's now worse than ever.

Is there anything a tradesman could do here, or is it going to be a matter of lifting the floorboards and relaying them all?
