Seattle recommendations things to do

try to get a ticket for 1 hour tour before sunset,
Giving a lot of thought to this, the lightrail to our airport is about 45 mins, uber could be slightly shorter if the traffic is not too bad.
Our hotel is about 1.4km from the space needle so we could drop the bags and then run.
Assuming of course the flight all runs to schedule.

Business class experience great so far, fast track security and also fast track for the pre clearance.

A nice way to relax considering the journey to the airport was a complete nightmare despite leaving early, was unable to access Harristown area ended up ditching the car in Swords, walking and getting a taxi.

Food top notch on the plane, ample free booze, cabin crew excellent. We got it for a steal by all accounts €3,811 return for the two of us.
Was checking out flights to Boston / NYC and Vegas, eyewatering to say the least, averaging €7k or higher return.
Like my marathon experience, i suspect this to be a one and done event!

We arrived with enough time to do the space needle coming into dusk but sadly low cloud so would have been a waste of $110.

Seattle is a bit seedy, we went for a walk about and the drug crisis over here very evident.

That's a shame about the space needle, but definitely a good call not to head up while it was cloud bound, pretty pointless.

The night I spent there in May I was staying downtown in CitizenM. I had a couple of hours to spare before bed and thought I'd take a long walk downtown just to experience the mood and vibe of the city. Nothin could have prepared me for what I saw. Despite having visited many cities across North America this was the first time I came face to face with the fentanyl crisis. It's extreme upsetting to see the consequences. Quite harrowing really.

Anyway, looking forward to hearing how the trip to Everett went !!

It's just heartbreaking to watch, in their defense they appear to keep to themselves, not trouble makers like a howya at home.

Wow. Just wow.

My poor brain still trying to take it in, sometimes I lose focus of what's being built in these places and I wonder how are the machines built to build the bigger machines!

The F16 simulator was great laugh, I was rather proud of my efforts! A great excursion, now time to do Airbus lol! Staff excellent so knowledgeable they are a slick operation.

The Museum of Pop culture was a slight let down, was expecting a bit more. Headed down to Pike Place as everything was shutting down but Starbucks was our main attraction, less than 20 minute wait time so happy out himself collects their cups so he is delighted with his haul.

I attacked Target, love that chemist!

Wow. Just wow.
Glad you enjoyed it. It's a bit of a trick to get out there but will worth the effort in my opinion. The scale of the place is mind-blowing. I vividly remember being on the top floor viewing platform, looking down into the manufacturing hall (hall 3 I think) and seeing five 777s below being assembled indoors at the same time. With plenty of room to spare. And the guide saying "this is just one of our halls, there are five more of similar size". I'm generally not a fan of guided tours, but this was a definite exception.

Hope you enjoy the cruise !

We paid for a fully guided tour so we got collected and then they dropped us off and waited for us while we did the tour which was brilliant.

We were situated in the last two hangers so the balcony was between five and six, you can see on both sides they have an employee service center and a coffee shop in each hanger it's that big!

It would be phenomenal to get down on the actual factory floor but of course that's never going to happen. Fascinating, another cool thing ticked off the list!
