Hi,
My house is plumbed/wired for individual control of two heating zones (upstairs and downstairs) and HW. At present all is control as one 'channel' from a basic mechanical timer.
I would like to get a programmer that would enable me to control the three channels individually. I came across the Horstmann ChannelPlus that seems to fit the bill ( http://www.horstmann.co.uk/downloads/ElectronicDocuments/Central-Heating/ChannelPlusH37XLDatasheet.pdf )
Does anyone have any experience with this programmer?
Or could you recommend an alternative?
I am a little concerned that there are only three ON periods per day. However, I guess that cranking up the boiler on several occasions is probably not very efficient? In any case use of the programmer with programmable thermostats could be one way to create more on/off periods.
thanks.,
