RAC online tax return

Hi,

I am completing my 2025 online tax return and cannot locate the section to enter payments into my Retirement Annuity Contract (RAC). I see an option for PRSA, but not RAC. I've queried Revenue, but it is a 20–35 day wait.

I am looking under the 'Your Job' section of 'Credits and Reliefs', is that right?

Income Tax Form 11 : Pension (Q 506 to 510)

I want to top up my AVC pension by €5000 for 2024. The names the revenue call the various types of pensions don't match my AVC, which is a private pension Additional Voluntary Contribution. So is it a RAC/PRSA/QOPP?

Thanks for that.

I took a look through my previous queries with revenue and I realised that I had the same issue in 2021, and at that time they amended the online form to include a RAC section.

They didn't say if it was an oversight on their part but they also didn't say to use the PRSA section so I'll just wait to hear back from them this time.

To update in case anyone else is having the same issue, I found the RAC section in the 'You and Family' section.
