Bought Philips LCD 42" TV 2 months ago. Intermittent problem with some cells not lighting up. Philips want me to have the tv collected where it could take up to 15 days to return. Service company based in Cork. No home service call out. Still under warranty. Is 15 days 'reasonable amount of time to repair' from a warranty point of view. Spend €1000 on a tv and getting this kind of back up service is deplorable. Any suggestions. Retailer can't help.....
