Hi.
My husband is a linesman working on overhead power lines but he is not an electrician.
We are working for a UK based company here in the Midlands and am trying to understand Irish regulations.
I think he is supposed to belong to an E.R.A. but I dont know if its construction (CIF) or electrical or possibly neither.
We are trying to work out if my husband is being paid correctly.
Someone mentioned a JNIC as being a recent wage negotiation but again I dont know if its construction or electrical.
Husband would rather not ask employer until we're knowledgable enough to have a constructive conversation.
At the moment we'd have to accept employer's word for everything?
Any advice. Thanks.
