Deering: No, it shows the difference in rates, but not the saving.

Very poor questioning on the prevailing rate issue from Conway Walsh and even worse answering by the KBC guy. If I was in the "prevailing rate cohort" I would take heart. Senator Conway Walsh has asked KBC to look at this issue again.
 
Bitterly disappointed with the standard of questioning and knowledge of questioners. Legal fees in repo cases can only be awarded by a judge. Once a case gets to court banks have no right to apply interim costs.

Whether I like them or not, these are the only guys that have been consistently prepared for these meetings, and been able to ask the tough questions and understand what they are asking!
 
This was the softest and most I'll informed questioning of a bank I've seen in a while on a number of issues. KBC's continued attempts to shut down the the tracker cases, the SVR issue, legal fees were virtually unchallenged. And they were left off to trot out the old "people who don't/engage" chestnut. How well has the bank engaged? For example how many/ what percentage of independently proposed PIAs have they rejected? Why did they fight PIA appeals on a technicality thereby delaying resolutions for debtors? And on, and on. The new KBC head must be celebrating such an easy afternoon.
 
KBC said yesterday they have completed their tracker review,So can people forward their cases to the Ombudsman now or do they wait have to wait on the Central Bank to announce that the review is completed?

Yes the Ombudsmen has began their investigations on the tracker issues.
Forward your case to them ,once you have a final response from your bank .

Hi Wonder, I know the Ombudsman is taking tracker cases but I thought that was from only certain banks like Ulster bank. Up until yesterday he Ombudsman was not taken cases from KBC until the review was completed.
