Disney + Offer.

I'll wait til tomorrow :p - and then cancel immediately as the cancelation only becomes effective at the end of the 3 months and I won't have to remember to cancel.

Offer valid until 23:59 on 27/09/25. Valid only for new Disney+ subscribers and returning Disney+ subscribers with no current active entitlement, who are 18 years of age or older. Upon redeeming this offer, you will be enrolled in an auto-renewing monthly subscription and you will be charged the then-current monthly price of your chosen plan beginning at the end of your 3 month promotional offer unless you cancel your subscription before then. Cancel anytime, effective at the end of your billing period.

Surely people should be boycotting Disney for their cowardice during the Jimmy Kimmel fiasco???They seem to be not be proponents of free speech
The funny thing for me is even though I should be concerned by what Disney did here, I'm not
but rather a grubby, avaricious patsy that would do literally anything to help their bottom line..
But this is something that is really beginning to irk me these days, it is as far as I'm concerned a blatant "money grab"
and it's not just the streaming services, I see it in other areas like

Gaming where Activision is constantly pushing you to spend more and more on things that should be included in the games,
The automobile industry where cars will have all options fitted as standard but you'll have to pay a monthly subscription to use
Service providers who automatically increase your monthly bill by CPI and 3% annually
Utility providers who put their prices up twice a year but still offer 20/30% discounts
Dynamic pricing for airlines, hotels and tickets

I understand that pricing is a complex area but when the consumer sees the ever increasing huge profits these companies are making,
you can't but feel that we are the "patsy" here getting poorer and poorer each year

Anyone who took up this offer is probably now in the 3rd and final month.

You should now cancel to be sure you are not rolled on to the full price.

Disney will probably offer a deal of €6.49 per month, but there will almost certainly be much better offers in the new year.
