The vast majority of targets are part of the Russian war machine, they have been historically very careful to avoid civilian infrastructure to maintain the popular international support they depend on. Just as with some of the attacks on Ukraine, interceptions of drones in flight isn't 100% effective and often results in the drone detonating on the ground a distance from the intended target.

Alongside that, the most likely thing to stop this war is the Russian people taking a stand, making the war a little more real for them may make more of them brave enough to do so.

The war is complete madness driven by the stupid ego of one old man.

What does it say about Russian and US society that one stupid old man can drag the entire country to war.

Their citizens are too stupid and lazy to stop them.

Plenty of that here too if the circumstances arise.

I havent seen anything like this in Irish or European media? Maybe I'm out of kilter of what is happening but a statement like that surely needs to seized upon for a ceasefire?
