I think it's unusual, but the Axa policy does include cover for the car being driven.
so you can take out cover on a Micra, then get in some other punter's Lambourghini, drive it into (say) a swimming pool and Axa will cover the damage to the car? Seems like a recipe for scams.
It would be comprehensive subject a certain value and engine size.
