Currently on 1 plan starter but thinking public Hospital only cover not worth having.
So will need to include some private hospital cover when renewing.
Due to loading won't be able to afford a very comprehensive plan.
What would be best plan under €1,000 without loading?
Renewal date early March.

Is Smart plan 250 worth considering or is it much inferior to One plan 250?

VHI One Plan 250 covers all public and private hospitals. Whereas Smart Plan 250 covers a selected list of public and private hospitals.
Its important to check out both of these lists to see if the hospitals covered, suit your location.

Smart Plan 250 is only worth considering if you're happy with the hospitals covered.
Its 67 euro extra in price overall, for 25 more public hospitals and 14 more private hospitals on One Plan 250.
