Blackrock clinic often waive the private room supplement when staying there. Both my parents have had knees replaced in BC and in both cases room was covered even though they are only entitled to SP room
Maybe tied into Fixed Price Procedure deal. I had surgery there during Covid and my plan definitely was not sufficient for private room in Blackrock which I had. I had confirmed the cover with VHI before even considering going there.
