I don't think the stuff you're getting will be too bad. For example, the doors of the kitchen cabinets will be in single packets, ditto the shelves, side panels ,etc. Also, they will be on the floor level, not on the high shelves. You need to make a list before you go up. Then, when you're there, note the reference numbers of each item. They will be on the display in the showrooms. Make a list of how many you want with the same reference number. We spent a good while in the bedroom showroom listing everything for a built-in wardrobe. As we already had the doors we didn't have to get them - they would have been heavy. We checked and double checked our items. It so happened some things we wanted weren't available - if they're not on the floor don't bother asking an attendant if they're in stock - they're not, till another day. We compromised by getting drawers instead of wire baskets, etc. You do need to have a good look in the showrooms before going down to the 'warehouse' because you'll have this big trolley with stuff on it and you can't really go back up to the showrooms in the middle of your searching. Then, when we were finished, we checked our list - and double-checked again, and found we missed something! It is a bit harrassing but worth it if you keep your cool! We did get help in loading the car.
