Any TUD students/parents having problems with registration?

My son's delay in getting registered and then being able to obtain a letter confirming his student status also meant that his CU current account ceased to be a student one and he was charged fees for a few months. But the CU were very helpful in getting his student status restored and the fees charged refunded just before Christmas.

DS fees are showing as outstanding. I paid the 2.5k last year as have one in Maynooth and one in Trinity and want to claim the excess back witb Revenue. However their fee system hasn't been adjusted to account for the reduced fees for 25-26. There's no response to mails or tickets.
DS is enjoying the course but Aungier St campus is very rundown. It's a pity as the location is fantastic. I wish they'd make a decision on the move to Grangegorman.

They seem to have more or less completed a couple more buildings on the Grangegorman campus so I wonder if they'll be centralising some more students/courses soon? Although one of the new buildings looks like a library so maybe that will accommodate the library that's currently in the old a Digital office building in Park House on the NCR near Hanlon's Corner?

I still haven't paid my son's Tud fees for 25-26.I'm not even sure he's registered. They sent him a confirmation before Christmas of his enrollment in a degree that he gave up 3 years ago .Absolute shambles.

Same palaver this year and my son (3rd year TUD Tallaght) and many others still haven't been able to register even though it's November. Absolutely ridiculous and no matter who is contacted about it, all the way up to the president of the institution, there's still no explanation never mind a resolution. The registration people just keep saying "we're working on it".

In relation to this, the library building on the Grangegorman campus is now operational but TUD seem to be retaining the use of Park House on the NCR for other purposes. There's a conversion of use planning notice outside which I glanced at the other day but I can't remember what they're planning to use the place for instead of a library going forward.

Having same issue with 2 of my daughters in TU Dublin Grangegorman, one was sent an invite to register with a temporary password ( never worked) my other daughter is in 3rd year same malarkey as last year , despite several attempts to get it sorted

My son got an email for registration last week none of his actual modules appeared for selection. He tried it again a few days later and couldn't get any access to the 2026/7 academic year details at all. Only last year's. Yesterday he got an email from the registration people saying that they're still having problems. So he still can't get a letter confirming his student status which is essential for certain banking and social welfare purposes. What a joke.
