I think you need to be a lot more specific to avoid getting bad feedback. Heat pumps are only one part of the whole heating setup of your home. They work very well when implemented correctly with modern well insulated A rated homes.
If your home is currently heated by oil/gas/other and you think it is cold, then a heat pump will not fix it, in fact, it would probably make it worse and cost you more in energy bills. If this is the case, you need to look at improving insulation and reducing heat loss. This will improve your comfort levels regardless of using a heat pump or not
A starting point would be:
How big is your home in sqft/sqm?
What is your current heating system?
How much energy do you consume for heating in kWh? e.g. 11,000kWh is national gas average
Do you know your BER rating?
