    Fixed or Variable Loan

If you're looking to close if off early I believe you want a variable as a fixed rate will cost you to close before the term is complete, but of course you have the risk of the interest increasing before you pay it off.

Typically when I said the above, I'm proven wrong straight away. Last Friday I ordered tickets for Pearl Jam in June 2010 - arrived yesterday! Jon

When's the gig? I'd usually get mine a couple of weeks before the show rather than soon after I've booked.

Giant's Causeway - where to stay

Hi Shaking. I'm actually from the area and I'd certainly recommend the Bushmills Inn, although it's a little pricey. There is the BayView Hotel in Portballintrae, about 1 mile from Bushmills which is handy for the Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, Portrush & Portstewart. Jon

How to Lay Solid Wooden Floors??

Kilbird, I have 3 solid wooden floors at home that have all been floated. Just remind your builder to make sure the floor is level - may need some self levelling compound to fill in any hollow - and that he includes a waterproof layer as well as the foam between floor and concrete. Jon

    Philips LCD TV - D vs H

I'm looking at a new Philips LCD TV. Model I'm looking at is 37PFL7603, but there appears to be 2 variants - D & H. I'm been looking at the web this morning, but can't seem to get a definitive difference in the two. Would anyone be able to enlighten me? Thanks Jon
