What i was wondering is , should i get NZ bank to do conversion to euro or get it paid to bank of ireland here in dollars, and let them do conversion. Is there a difference.

all my furniture and motor vehicle are arriving in Belfast. Car will be transported Belfast to Galway and furniture seperate. The car is the worry part coming in at Belfast and registered in Galway. Hope i am doing the right thing......:confused:

Thanks gipimann, We have a joint account of €40000 savings. Does that mean that does that mean that 20000 belongs to wife and 20000 belongs to me. So the €40000 should be disregarded.
