Hi oldnick. I can see how you would have deduced that from what I have posted so I'll amend my post. I don't actually think that NIMBYism is wrong per se. If a group of people with similiar viewpoints wish that the area in which they live is maintained in a particular way, then once it is not illegal nor costs the rest of us money to do so, I don't think there is anything wrong with them representing themselves as best they can.
