quickest way to phoenix park from Donabate at peak time

Would anyone know the quickest way by car to get to Phoenix park from Donabate - must be at Pheonix park at 7pm work days... earliest can leave Donabate is 6.00pm...

Port tunnel & out along the quays ??
Livedrive forum might have some better suggestions

Would agree with Red, thats the best way...Port Tunnel can save a lot of time..although the quays can be quite busy,

might not be so bad in evening as you are going against peak traffic
would definitely be higher if you were doing same route in the morning
worth checking the website out

stay out of the city - you will get into the port area easily but will then be snarled up in the city centre for ages. Why not try swords, back of airport via St margarets, Finglas, cabra, Phoenix park ?

I would agree with nai - if you go by glasnevin, old finglas road, tolka valey road - over the bridge, nephin road, then on to the park. You wont hit much traffic at all - in the morning or the evening.. The only thing is getting over the bridge - as there are trains that pass roughly evey 1/2 hour so you may have a few minutes wait..
