charge on card never processed

for peace of mind i would ring the credit card company, without going into details, ask them to clarify their position re unposted transactions and time lmits.
then ask them if they can see any pending transactions on your account.

least that way you'll be clear in your head.
 
I had the except same thing happen to me three years ago. Two flights to Aisa and still waiting......Wonder if it is the same company!
