For obvious reasons I do not want to name the institution.
I have been reviewing the case file of a an individual who had been seeking legal and accountancy advise on their mortgage. Neither solicitors nor accountants wanted to take up the case and seek an agreement with the bank. Having brought to the attention of both sets of professionals umpteen discrepancies.
Could you please advise how the bank can be formally approached in explaining why they went out of their way to misinform their client that they were protected under MARP. One particular banker made a comment along the lines of "tell them very little" and "don't give the game away that they are protected under MARP"
