Or any plumber who does a decent job and does not charge €90 for ten minutes work.
I'd like to find one of these legends, in the Naas area.

Any recommendations?

If they are not doing the job properly that's one thing but you are paying for expertise and time. Time on the job and time taken to get to you and back. And don't forget materials/parts. I don't think €90 is that excessive really. You'll probably find you will have to pay a minimum of €60/70 to get any tradesperson to even look at a job - before they lift a finger.
In reply to the question, I'd be happy to pay €50 for a small plumbing job that takes 10-20 minutes.

Travel & phone expenses are tax deductible, time taken to drive to a job would not be seen as an issue if there wasn’t such an amount of work available out there,

Principles of plumbing are the same. The reason customers are using 'our European brothers and sisters' are because they are prepared to work for less money - they are not exploited.
You would be wrong to assume that safe working practices in one country are the same in another. On this site there are a few posting about bad local installers and plumbers, but as a trouble shooter who works weekly with different installers across the Midlands and Dublin, i find the good ones easily out number the bad ones.Principles of plumbing are the same...
