7.462 is the current version & I've just updated it to latest virus definitions. Sounds like your computer or the ZA install is messed up. You should be able to download a complete installer from their website and then run that as a 'clean' install. To do a clean uninstall, try unsetting the option (in ZA) to start ZA when Windows starts, then reboot, then try the uninstaller. It's a fairly robust program, only problem I have with it is that it crashes when I use ActiveSync to synchronise with my phone.
