Would I be due tax back from unpaid maternity leave?

Hi,
I went on unpaid maternity leave in Aug 09.
Do you think I would be due tax back for the last few months of the year?
I've tried phoning revenue a couple of times but never got through.
I'm useless at this tax stuff and only working 2 days a week now so would love to think I might be owed a few bob.

It is possible if you had no income, had paid tax and had unused tax credits. Your P60 for 2009 would have the necessary information on it.That would, by now, be on record with Revenue. If you try ringing them again on the LoCall number for your district, they will be able to help. Go to Revenue.ie, put in your PPS number in the contact locator and that will give you the correct phone number.
