Working While Travelling

Now thanks to the pandemic that my role is 95% online, are there going to be any implications if I were to travel while still staying working for the same employer?

Are there differences if this were to be inside or outside the EU for example?

I'm not thinking of anything major but like taking a month to stay in France during the RWC and working while over there rather than taking a month off work?
 
Ask your employer. Ours now has a specific policy on this. Working remotely we are expected to be working at the address on file with HR. American mnc so presumably this is due to different taxes in different states in the US. But applies to us also.
 
It'll heavily depend on the country you go to as some countries are very against remote work and want taxes soon as you are there for any real length of time. In some cases this can require the employer to register entire entities and have to pay corporation tax. We've lost multiple staff over the years as we couldn't keep them employed in the other country, even EU countries like Spain.
