working and living in bermuda islands

i am considering a job offer in bermuda islands and was just wondering if anyone has any experience there that they would like to share ie culturally,socially etc

 

[Caveat]

Very conservative place. Pretty but a bit Stepford-wivesy. Expensive, clean and law abiding. Poor choice of groceries. Very humid in Summer. Hurricanes.

very very small place, non-bermuda folk cannot own property, as such rent is huge over there for even the most basic of accommodation.

Also there's no Bermuda "Islands" - it's basically just one island ... about 10 miles long and pretty narrow
