Having been working in ireland for last 10 yrs, i move to canada to work for 1 year from july 1 2004 till june 30 2005 (canadian government employee for this year) and then i will return to work in ireland again after this.
Am i considered fully resident in ireland for both 2004 and 2005 tax years and if so,
1. will i be taxed in ireland on my canadian earnings(with relief for canadian tax paid) ?
2. can i get tax relief on rent paid in canada(as my principle private residence in ireland has not been rented as i would have stamp duty liability if i did this)
3. can i also get tax relief on flight costs to/from canada ?
4. is there a foreign earnings deduction available ?
thanks in advance
