Work site insurance cover to indemnify client.

I have been asked to do some video work documenting an old site that is about to be partly demolished for redevelopment.

Some of the buildings on the site are in poor condition and the client wants me to be insured in order to avoid any claim against them, should I be injured while doing the job.

I'm a sole-trader.

What kind of insurance would I need?

Thanks.

Videographer.

I've just discovered that I can add Personal Injury cover to my camera insurance policy, so I'm sorted.

Thanks.

Just come across this.

Be very careful that the personal injury cover you have referenced is properly adequate to your needs.
It will probably be quite different from what you could recover under the client's public liability insurance IF they exposed you unreasonably and negligently to loss and injury.
BTW your add on personal injury cover would not prevent you from making a claim if required nor would it actually protect them from any liability to you.
