Work in Dubai / Middle east

I was thinking of going to work in Dubai or Middle East for a year to try and get some money together.

Has anyone ever done this. What are they best places to look for jobs apart from typing jobs into google.

www.sabis.com is an international school who recruit here. I almost got a job with them last year but wanted me to go out straight away rather than after the 4 week notice period I told them I had. I would still like to go over, thought it sounded very interesting.

CCM is a company, based as far as I remember on Dorset Street who specialise in recruitment for the Middle East. I think their website is simply www.ccm.com

They're the only two I can think of but there are more. Given the political situation I'm really not sure how much recruitment is being done at the moment.

We're just back from very successful few years in the ME - we were in Saudi and wouldn't suggest there because of situation but Dubai is safe. However, it's just as easy to spend there as it is to save!! Great experience though - if you've no ties, go for it..
 
How did you get work? I am in IT so teaching is kind of out.

Did they provide you with free flights?

What is the pay like? I know it is tax free
