My husbands company has asked him to go on a 3 day week thus cutting his pay & to go sales rep-ing for the remaining 2 days with comission for anything he sells on the 2 days, but they already have sales rep for the area anyway and things very quiet at the moment in the construction/fabrication sector so limiting his chances of selling very much.
a) Should he go with above option & risk working 5 days for 3 days pay should sales be slack.
b) Would it be better for him if he just worked the 3 days and looked for Jobseekers Benefit for other 2 days a week.
c) Would it be better for him if he just worked the 3 days and looked for another part time job for the other 2 days a week.
