H henry Registered User Messages 70 1 Dec 2008 #1 We have ceramic floor tiles on our hallway floor and are thinking of putting down a wooden floor here instead - either solid or semi-solid. Does anyone know if we have to remove the tiles or can we lay the wood on to the tiles. The tiles are level.

T tosullivan Registered User Messages 1,747 2 Dec 2008 #6 it can be done but I would take them up....the floor will be a lot higher for a start if you leave them Once the first tile comes up, it should be straight forward from there....only delay might be getting some of the adhesive up
