wma autoplay

Do you have a CD/DVD in the drive or another external (e.g. USB) storage device attached by default? If you can't remove it then try changing the properties in the relevant device to switch autoplay off.

thanks clubman.Yes I had my ipod in use as an external storage device.Went to properties and tried to get rid of autoplay ,still showing up.When I disconnect my i-pod, no autoplay which is fine. But I was trying to install an update for my i-pod and it won't work.I'm only guessing that the autoplay continuously appearing is affecting the installation.By the way, the updated installation for i-tunes worked fine.
