There might be similar questions out there but I haven't been able to find anything. Short of being actually able to test this myself here it goes:
I would like to ditch my eircom dsl for a mobile broadband provider but I also want to setup a cordless VOIP phone (not a wi-fi model).
So, could I keep my wireless network going - with only internet coming straight into my PC? Could my PC communicate with the router and pass data back and forth say if I was on the cordless VOIP phone that would be plugged into the back of the wireless modem via ethernet cable I imagine.
I'm open to all solutions and my priority will be to setup the VOIP phone even if that means keeping eircom.
Many thanks-
