Wireless Broadband and headaches?

Hi,

We got broadband installed in the house two weeks ago and hooked up a wireless router for access throughout the house.
I never got headaches really in my life bar from hangovers but I have been sufferring from one bad headache pretty much ever since we got broadband installed. I know it could very well be a coincidence and probably daft but just wondering if anyone else has noticed anything similar? I've been waking up with nightmares also which is very unusual.

Considering only turning on the router when using the internet.

Thanks,
Dave.

Are you sure that this is not coincidental or psychosomatic? I very much doubt that 2.4GHz signals can cause headaches or any health issues for that matter. Microwave ovens also operate in the same frequency band so if you have been around them without problems then that's more evidence that the 2.4GHz WiFi signals are not to blame. If you are concerned about the safety of 2.4GHz signals then you might find some relevant reading among .

If you've just got broadband for the first time 2 weeks ago, could it be because you're using it so much as it's always on - and you're getting screen headaches?

the new broadband headache! dont mean to scoff at your pain, but I had this very discussion with a friend who experienced the same thing (as did I) when I got BB in. You spend so much time on the web in the initial few weeks of getting BB, the old bonce doesnt like staring at the screen, hence the headache. Review your pc usage and if it continues see a doctor. In fact, now that I think about it, see a doc anyway. Cant have AAM diagnosing medical problems.
BTW, my friend and I both went wireless at the same time as getting BB too and as the novelty wore off so did the headaches so I wouldnt say ts the wireless either.
Most of my headaches were caused by stumbleupon

Son gets migraine headaches (with sick stomach) regularly and I'm convinced its to do with too much time spent on the computer - mainly playing games. Fairly addictive all round.

Are the headaches caused by the high cost of the Broadband service, perhaps? :p
