Wireless Broadband access problems - new laptop

Hi folks,

I'm not every technically minded so bear with me. I recently purchased a new laptop but am having trouble accessing broadband. I can only access it near the modem in one or two rooms of the house. Everywhere else is shows a weak signal but it freezes when I go to access a page. I never had a problem with the previous laptop.

Do I need to change settings or could it be something else.

One thing to try to improve the wireless range is to change the wireless channel. Have a look at these sites.

I think it depends to kbps or signal of your connection. Better to contact your broadband dealership. Or you can try set-up a new connection on your laptop. Also check your modem.
