Will mortgage lender be advised of new life assurance policy?

My life assurance policy provider can create a new policy for me to reflect my now non-smoker status, which should save me some money. However, before I proceed I would like to know whether a revised policy would automatically be sent to my mortgage lender? I'm trying to stay under the radar as much as possible as my property is rented out without their knowledge or consent. All correspondence from the life assurance provider is c/o of my parents' address since I rented out my house. Thanks, HMC

Quite possible

But remember banks only have to one day do a check of the PRTB register to find this out anyway - assuming you are registered

I would guess that if the mortgage payment is being made each month, nothing will make the bank start checking to see if your house is rented out.

Would they be allowed access to the PRTB list anyway? Surely there would be data protection issues if this data was released?
