Will EBS follow PTSB in selling non performing loans?

I have a restructured EBS mortgage..... fell into arrears all sorted out now thankfully.

Is there any risk of EBS selling its non performing loans?

Extremely unlikely.

The EBS/AIB percentage of non-performing loans is much lower than ptsb's.

If they have to sell loans, it will probably be bigger non-residential loans.

They might also sell some genuinely non-performing residential loans but not good restructured loans.

If it is restructured and has been for awhile it will appear on balance sheet as (re)performing. This is what EBS want when EBS goes for sale. Possible buyers want a strong performing, re performing loan book, it makes a possible purchase more attractive to them.
