My friends were due to fly from Tenerife to Cork last Thursday 15th - they've made their way to Paris by now and can get a flight this Friday 23rd direct from Paris to Cork. It's a lot more expensive than the original flight. Will Aer Lingus pay the difference? They cannot change the booking online as the Tenerife flight has passed (obviously) and that system is only for changing upcoming flights.
Many thanks.
