Wife finished work to stay at home - claim tax now or when filing 2014 returns?

Mrs Beag finished up work recently to stay at home to mind the children. Would it make more sense for her to claim her tax back now (she will only have worked for just over 9 months this year) or to wait until we file our returns next year (we rent out an apartment so submit returns in addition to our PAYE earnings)? Would it amount to the same thing ultimately?

No real point doing it now TBH. You can't really do it until you include the rent etc anyway so do it early next year.
