from my understanding they received a huge amount of interest, however I have not read that they are no longer taking applicants!
I knew someone who worked for the CSO part time for the last census. She had a full time job (nothing wrong with that), however I wonder how many applicants who get a position will be people who are unemployed, as opposed to using people who did the job previously.
