I can't quote a post, is there a new way to do this? All I have is bottom left Report or bottom right Like.

I don't have the 'reply' box:
If you're trying to quote content in another post and reply to it then you need to read the thread that @Brendan Burgess already referenced.
In short you select the text that you want to quote in an existing post and then select the "Reply and Quote" popup button.

This is what I would consider to be the Reply Box.

You just start typing your reply and then hit the Post Reply button. That was always there but I think that people didn't know that they could just stary typing their reply and thought that they had to hit a button first. They didn't last year and they don't this year.

Perhaps I'm totally missing the point here but so many people have a problem with this and it seems so straightforward that I don't understand it. I am, of course, using the computer all the time rather than phone so perhaps that's the difference.

If I put the cursor at the start of your sentence and mark it by dragging it along it to the end it highlights the sentence. I then get a pop-up option 'Reply and Quote' and when I hit that it brings me to the new reply box with your text already inserted and off I go with my message. Does that make sense?

I use a phone more often than a PC these days and find it simple to use the new "select/highlight text and hit the 'Reply and Quote'" button approach on both classes of device.

It's only straightforward if you know how to do it

That's why I explained very simply how to do it. If you mark and as a result of doing that you are highlighting the required text then the pup-up button automatically appears. I always use a mouse even on laptop so perhaps if you are trying to mark the text without a mouse it may be harder.
