Whose scheme does Ulster Bank come under

In all this turmoil Ulster Bank hasn't been mentioned much. How are they fixed?

I see they are not among the 6 banks gauranteed by the government today. I always thought Ulster Bank was one of the big 3 (AIB, BOI & UB) as they have a lot of branches and have been here forever (I had a Henry Hippo account as a kid!).

Although I no longer bank with them some of my family do and if their money is not as safe as in other institutions I want to let them know so they can switch.

For what it's worth:
