Who to complain to re Laser Surgery

Anyone know who regulates private Laser Surgery clinics. My sister had a very unpleasant experience and she wants to report the clinic.

Is it a medical council thing?

It really depends on the unpleasant experience, but you should probably seek legal advice

If the experience was with a Doctor then the Medical councel who you see. I agree that her first port of call should be a chat with her solicitor.

Your first recourse should be to complain to the doctor. Most doctors take complaints very seriously and want to settle things amicably. The Medical Council regulates doctors' behaviour, so if the complaint is about the doctor's manner or behaviour or attitude then write to the Medical Council. If your complaint is about technical matters or competence then this is an entirely different matter and you would need to consult a solicitor and sue for negligence--good luck!!!
